ARTIST STATEMENT
I am a multicultural tinkerer / designer born in Thailand, graduated from the UK, and now actively working in Japan. I am also a cheerleader (founder) of an international art community, ArtGumi. I live to inspire the world to be more positive and kind through my creations.
I believe that when our hearts are positively softened, we tend to lower our guards, open up to kindness, and become more accepting of each other. My strategy in art is not to make people stand in awe of the greatness of art or artist, but to create the spark of "heart flutter" through experiencing the art over time.
As an artist, I constantly learn, explore, and experiment with new technologies to open up my worldview and enhance my creativity. I am gradually expanding my range from traditional art to digital art, interactive art, coding, hardware art, and robotics. My recent body of work includes augmented reality (AR) pixel art illustrations, art on canvas that can be scanned as QR codes, interactive diorama with touch-activated story, a robot who tells the story of her past lives through her eyes, and more.
Regardless of the medium, on one fine day, if those who have ever experienced what I create could recall their positive memories associated with it and feel fluffy with their hearts ready to open up, then I have achieved my purpose as an artist.
